Defining Measurements

Below is a simple illustration i got from the wonderful world of cyberspace, this would also be helpful to you girls who would want to get our services and yet so far away to be reached by our wonderful 'manang' =)

Illustration on the extreme left would go as follows:
B - for the neckline, to know how high or how low you would want your dress or shirt to be. A good marking as concealing or revealing point.
F - is the distance from neckline to the tip of your boobie
D - the chest length from left to right
G - length between boobie tip A to boobie tip B, good for defining front openings and if done properly creates a great silhouette
E - boobie tip to waist line
H - waist line, now you have to remember not to inhale too hard to adjust the measurement. We don't want you exploding like the Hulk once you already got your dress or blousy, ok? *wink*
I - is for the tummy area, the lenght it would glide through from left to right, this is assuming you want something fit. But mostly this measurement area is used when making pants.
J - is where the maximum measurement of your hips would fall... you know how it works in purchasing jeans? it fits the legs and the waist but it's stucked on your beauty bunbuns?
Q - is the thigh measurement, the widest it could possibly be
N - is the length from the apex of your legs
R - is for the whole length of the pants from waist till ankle (ideally)

on the second illustration:
C - is to get the shoulder to shoulder point, you can actually know what kind of body shape you have by seeing C, H, and J.
If C is wider than J, you are more of an inverted triangle
if J is wider than C, you are a triangle
if J and C are almost the same and H is the smallest point, you have an hour-glass figure
if J,C and H are almost the same, you are rectangular
and if H is wider than C and J, you must be pregnant...hehehe... kidding... you're either round or a diamond.

See illustration below

O - in the illustration is the measurement of the movement you will occupy when moving your lower back joints. This is very important when getting the measurement for pants, so as not to let anything peek when you sit or stride.
M - is for the circumference of the arm area, so we'll have an idea for the arm room for the blouse.
P - is kinda like the O, only in front.
A - is your total length, head to foot.
S - is the total length from neckline to ideal end of the dress you want.
T - is for the slit length, incase you want any.

There we have it... It's just a simple reference we can both rely on.
